Really enjoyed the event at Spoone School. I'm always impressed by how well organised the Proactive Education events are and how they run, this one was as smooth as silk as always.

Just to say how much I enjoyed my visit to Sponne School. The new format was brilliant for me, the introduction of questions to the pupils enabled me to relate my answers to them. Looking forwards to my next visit.

“I have really enjoyed the day. It has been a great opportunity for me to share my knowledge and experience with the Year 8 students. Despite the students being in an early stage of their secondary education, it gives them the chance to get away from the day-to-day class and put into practice other skills they will need to develop in their future careers”.

Thank you very much for your email.
AG was a pleasure to have and we would be delighted to have any future students who are interested in Interior Design.
You are the first school/college to acknowledge us taking students so thank you.

Hi Samantha,
Myself and Sharnee from Adecco would just like to let you know what a pleasure it was to come down and meet the students . All of the students in our class were very pleasant and more interactive than I imagined. Despite it being a bit of a boring topic sometimes they all seemed to know quite a lot and there was some fantastic students in our class who knew so much!!
I hope the students found it useful and managed to get a head start on creating their own CV’s.
Many thanks for inviting us.

Hi Samantha,
Just wanted to send you a short note regarding today’s speed interview session at Shenley Brook End.
I must confess to being slightly apprehensive beforehand, as this is the first time that I have participated in an event like this.
I have to say that I found it very rewarding. The Y10 pupils were very attentive and I genuinely felt that they were benefitting from the whole experience.
Thanks again.

Thank you for allowing me to take part. Another great day for the kids they were fully engaged and enjoyed the challenge.
Shame you never got to throw the curve balls in, but there were some great ideas and designs.
Sorry I missed the last few minutes. LEt me know if you are stuck in future and I will try and help out. If not see you next year.

Hello, just wanted to say thanks for making yesterday's event run so smoothly! The students were all great - very pleasant, polite and interested. I was lucky to have a high proportion who were interested in science and medicine, so hopefully it was interesting for them too. The route into my job was not intentional - I had no idea my job existed until I applied for it 10 years ago - and I think that may have helped some of them realise the rest of their life does not hinge on what they choose now. Thanks, and hopefully see you next year!

The pupils were attentive, engaged and keen to learn, lots of questions in the feedback session. They appeared genuinely appreciative for the experience. I look forward to doing it again next year.

Hi Sam
Good to see you again yesterday.
I thought the event was great as where I’ve done careers talks before you find that maybe a handful of students are interested in law whereas the rest don’t want to be there, so this smaller groups format was a really good idea.
If there are any others that you need a Solicitor to help out at then I’d be more than happy to do so. I work in Kettering but live in Rugby so can cover off a fairly wide geographical area if needed.
Best wishes
Tom

Hi Sam, just a note to say what a lovely group of young people we met at Campion yesterday. They were largely shy and some were nervous but all were polite, listened and i hope seemed to get a lot out of the experience. It was a pleasure to help such lovely youngters in how to think about interviews.
Please pass on my compliments to the Head Teacher!

Regarding our working relationship that we have had over the past few years (since 2011 from memory?), it has grown with both of us understanding each other’s needs from undertaking community work. We have worked together on a number of projects and these have always been successfully from both sides (if some of the school events haven’t been as well run as others then you have taken my feedback on board – although this will be down to the school rather than yourself).
We have an excellent open and honest relationship that I believe works for us both and this has led to some excellent activities being delivered. Sam is honest, hardworking, delivers on her promises, she has a cheery personality that helps get people on her side too and fun to work with (which is important).

Sam has been excellent in forging a strong working relationship with the Barclaycard group over the last 3 years. She has always been proactive in reaching out to key personnel in the organisation and gaining support for the various events she manages.
The instructions are always very clear, the agenda and format always communicated before the day and expectations on our involvement and preparation are always in a timely manner.
The feedback I have received from the many colleagues who have partaken in these excellent events is of the highest quality, backed by the numbers who opt to volunteer again and again, year after year.
I can say that Sam has really grown and developed this relationship and she is wonderfully passionate about her role and the students at the heart of these events – it is a pleasure working with her and I hope we continue this for many years to come

I always enjoy working on SWAN projects Samantha has organised as one can turn up at an event confident it has been well researched, will be well managed on the day and will be relevant to the needs of the students who gain so much from the sessions. It is important participating professionals, who give up their valuable time to attend such events, feel their involvement is worthwhile: Samantha's intelligent attention to detail and ability to bring people together certainly ensures this is felt - hence the many repeat contributors to events over the years, and the number of educational institutions willing to host them for their students.
Always enthusiastic, Samantha has the enviable ability to communicate with confidence at many different levels; and in my opinion is an excellent exponent of being able to link varied industry professionals with the sometimes insular environment in schools and colleges where there may be a reluctance to perhaps try something new. Samantha works hard to encourage schools and colleges to engage in a wide range of very productive sessions and to forge and maintain the essential industry links - no mean feat, especially in these challenging times!
