KENTS HILL PARK SCHOOL PRIMARY – MILTON KEYNES
WEDNESDAY 3rd December 2025 09.00AM – 11.30AM
YEAR 5 & 6 SPEED INTERVIEWING EVENT
Kents Hill Park Primary School welcomes you to join them in supporting their Year’s 5 & 6 students with this fun but vital event of speed interviewing. The students will move from one business volunteer to another business volunteer and spend 5/8 minutes interviewing YOU!! Yes, they will be asking you questions about your job, how you got to where you are, the highs and lows of your job! This will give the students an insight into how many different job roles are out there in the world of work. Its quick fun fast paced but the students learn so much from these events. There will be Danishes Tea and Coffee served throughout the morning.
MAGDALEN COLLEGE SCHOOL – BRACKLEY
THURSDAY 4TH DECEMBER 2025 9.00AM – 11.30PM
YEAR 10 – EMPLOYERBILITY EVENT
Magdalen College school welcomes you to join them in supporting their Year 10 students with their mock interview session. We are holding this even to support the Year 10 as they start commencing college/apprenticeship/university/employment interviews and to give them advice and support on how they prepare and conduct themselves at interview. You will work with a group of 4-6 students where they will still have 1-1 interview with you whilst the others observe and then they will swap round so they all have a turn at being interviewed. A generic job spec will be given to you beforehand to help give structure to the interview and I also have a list on typical interview questions that can also be used. We would very much welcome all your input with the interviews and for you to share your experiences and any odd questions that may have been asked of you at any interview you attended. We will also welcome support with the delivery of CV sessions for the students. You will work around the small groups of around 5 studnets supporting students whilst they structure their own CV’s. We will of course provide plenty of refreshments including tea, coffee, danishes ,savouries and cakes.
MILTON KEYNES ACADEMY – MILTON KEYNES

YEAR 7 – THEME PARK ENTERPRISE CHALLENGE EVENT
The Theme Park enterprise day for Year 7 students. This day is a great opportunity to help highlight various working areas in the working world. It will show case the theme park industry along with marketing, design, team work, HR, Design, negotiation, finance etc We discuss what is new within this industry and what the customers demands are now when visiting theme parks . After various research we ask the students to get into their teams and then they have to design their own theme park. They first have to make plans on a small scale just with pencil. After that the fun begins with colours, paints, tissue paper, magazines, felt pens etc. It’s a really great day and the students learn so much. They will be looking at marketing, design, team work, communication skills, sales, sponsorship etc. We welcome the support from the business industry, not just experts of Alton Towers , come along and help support the students. We believe that the students will also learn a lot from business input as well. It is a fun day and enjoyed by all. Tea and Coffee, cakes, Danishes, savouries will be made available throughout the day.

PYP Autumn Newsletter Highlights – A Half Term of Impact!
What an incredible start to the academic year! In just one half term, Proactive Young People (PYP) delivered 15 inspiring events, engaged with 375 amazing business volunteers, and reached over 3,600 students across Years 3 to 13.
From speed interviewing sessions and enterprise challenges to career fairs and mock interviews, our mission to bridge the gap between school and work life continues to thrive.
We also welcomed Magdalena C., Social Value & Engagement Manager at Reliable Contractors, who’s driving forward education engagement and career inspiration across the Midlands and Southeast.
💬 Feedback from partners has been fantastic, with organisations like Adobe, Speedy Hire, and EKFB praising our events as “well-organised, fun, and engaging.”
Looking ahead, our calendar is bursting with exciting opportunities — from mock interviews and employability eventsto theme park enterprise challenges and STEM days — inspiring even more young people to explore their potential.
We’d like to thank every volunteer, educator, and partner who made this half term such a success. Together, we’re shaping futures, building confidence, and creating meaningful connections between education and employment.
