YEAR 7 DISCO DILEMA ENTERPRISE EVENT
Disco Dilemma Challenge for Year 7 students. This day is a great opportunity to help highlight various working areas in the working world. It will show case the leisure and entertainment industry along with marketing, team work, HR, Design, negotiation, finance etc We discuss what is new in the market and what the customers demands are now within the leisure industry. After various research we ask the students to get into their teams and then they have to design their own disco venue. They first have to make plans on a small scale just with pencil. After that the fun begins with colours, paints, tissue paper, magazines, felt pens etc. It’s a really great day and the students learn so much. They will be looking at marketing, team work, communication skills, sales, sponsorship etc. We welcome the support from the business industry, not just the leisure and entertainment, come along and help support the students, you don’t have to be coffee.

Wow - it's nearly Easter time! Time really does fly when you're having fun! Our Easter Edition Newsletter is now available! We have worked with an incredible 949 amazing business volunteers so far this academic year and together we have inspired and empowered 11862 fantastic students across years 3 to 13! Well done everybody involved! From students to teachers, support staff and business volunteers! Incredible - thank you for having us! 🤪🤪🤪🤪
We have had a mega busy term - facilitating lots of school events (pics in the newsletter), networking at the MKFM event, celebrating International Women's Day AND being nominated for the Changemaker/Lightbulb award at the prestigious MK STEM AWARDS hosted by Meena Chander (MSc), Founder of MK STEM Awards 🥰
